About Us
Our Mission The Community Transportation Committee (CTC) is dedicated to expanding inclusive and affordable transportation options for underserved communities in Johnson County, Iowa. We believe that accessible transportation is fundamental to economic opportunity, personal dignity, and community vitality. Who We Are CTC is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 82-1532723) working to ensure that all Johnson County residents—regardless of income, disability status, or where they live—have access to reliable transportation that connects them to employment, housing, education, healthcare, and essential services. We are not affiliated with the City of Iowa City or Iowa City, Coralville, or Johnson County Transit Systems. As an independent advocacy organization, we work collaboratively with transit agencies, local government, employers, social service organizations, and community members to identify transportation barriers and advance solutions. |
