The Community Transportation Committee is powered by passionate volunteers and supporters like you. As a grassroots, member-driven nonprofit, we rely on community members to fuel our advocacy efforts and push for better public transit in Iowa City.

By becoming a CTC member, you'll directly enable us to continue raising awareness, engaging stakeholders, and fighting for an equitable, sustainable transportation system that works for all.

What Members Do

CTC members are the driving force behind our initiatives, campaigns, and direction. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Receive updates on advocacy efforts and transit developments

• Attend annual meetings, town halls and educational events

• Volunteer for community outreach, surveying and other roles 

• Serve on committees and take leadership roles

• Promote mobility justice and give voice to the needs of bus riders

Membership is open to all individuals who support our mission, whether you're a daily transit rider, an interested community member, or represent a local organization or employer.
